These terms govern your use of surp.ivc.lol, a pay-per-request LLM routing service operated by ivcained (see operator identity). By sending requests to the service, creating a prepaid API key, or paying via x402, you accept these terms.
surp.ivc.lol is an independent gateway that routes OpenAI-compatible chat completion requests to models listed on the Surplus Intelligence marketplace (api.surplusintelligence.ai). For each request we resolve the route you chose to a concrete model at its live marketplace price, add a transparent 5% markup (minimum 1 cent per request, cache hits 0.1 cents), and forward the request. We do not host models, do not run a seller on the marketplace, and do not control the behavior, availability, or output of any upstream model or provider.
Two payment paths are supported: (a) per-request payment in USDC on Base via the x402 protocol, where each request is authorized with an EIP-3009 signature and settled on-chain; and (b) prepaid API keys created in the account app, which carry a balance and a budget. Prices are quoted before payment. Model prices move with the live market; the amount you are charged is the amount quoted for your request.
Do not use the service to break the law, to generate or distribute content that is illegal where you or the serving provider operate, to attack or overload the service or its upstreams, to probe other customers' data, or to resell access without a written agreement. API keys are personal credentials: keep them secret. We may rate-limit, suspend, or refuse service to prevent abuse.
The service is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Model outputs are generated by third-party models we do not control and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your use. Availability depends on upstream marketplace sellers.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator's total liability arising from or related to the service is capped at the unused balance of your prepaid API key, or the amount you actually paid for the request at issue if paid via x402, whichever applies. The operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or data loss.
You may stop using the service at any time. You may terminate a prepaid API key at any time and request a refund of its unused balance; refunds are paid in USDC on Base to the wallet that funded the key, minus on-chain transfer costs. We may terminate or suspend service for violation of these terms; in that case the unused balance of any prepaid key is refunded the same way.
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes are announced on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
